My name is Rhonda Jurd and for over two decades I have been guiding my clients on deep journeys of healing and self-discovery. I have been privileged to facilitate many life changing transformations over that time. I am passionate about seeing my clients grow and evolve. For me there is no better celebration than watching my clients achieve their goals. I would be honoured to support you too, on your transformational journey.

My Healing Journey

After a serious horse riding accident at 14 years of age left me in chronic pain, I embarked on a healing journey spanning over three decades and which still continues to this day. This journey has resolved my physical pain but has also opened my heart and helped me to become a more balanced and loving human being. I have spent decades studying, learning and applying a vast array of therapeutic, healing techniques which I now share in my clinic with my clients. 

 

I also love working with couples who want to heal their relationships. I have personally experienced how heart breaking it can be living in a relationship that is full of conflict and disconnection.  In my case my husband and I were blessed to find an excellent couples therapist who helped us save our marriage. The tools we learnt allowed our marriage to heal and prosper, learning that relating can be easy, loving and joyful! I now extend this knowledge to assist my couples clients to resolve their conflicts and move into more harmonious, connected and loving relationships.

 

Helping my clients to achieve their healing goals is my purpose and passion. I have dedicated my life to sharing my healing gifts, knowledge and insights with others. 

 

Clinic History

 

My first clinic was in Lane Cove, Sydney and was called 

Lane Cove Remedial Massage. It operated between 1997 - 2003.  

 

My husband and I then moved to Coorparoo, Brisbane for a change of scene. There I enjoyed running and operating Tranquility Healing Centre from 2004 - 2010.

 

After this we decided to return to my home town to be with family and enjoy living on the Mornington Peninsula.

 

My new clinic name of Ocean Star Healing was chosen to reflect my healing work; "Ocean" represents the water element connected with emotional healing and "Star" represents our ability as humans to bring forth our authentic, shining, star-like qualities when guided and supported by an experienced and trustworthy therapist.
